My story started before I could drive myself to work.
Montecalvo Orthodontic Lab is personal to me. It comes from years of making retainers, building digital workflows, and wanting to do the work my own way.

From after-school lab work to my own machines.
I first started working with a chain of three orthodontic practices when I was 15 years old. For a while, I was young enough that my parents had to drive me to work. That was where I learned how much a good retainer workflow matters to a busy office.
Over the next four years, I helped develop their digital process for making retainers into a more streamlined system. I learned the details that make the difference: clean scans, consistent printing, careful trimming, fast communication, and getting appliances back when the office actually needs them.
Eventually, I left to start my own ecommerce business on TikTok Shop. In a little over a year, that business did more than $1.4 million in revenue. It taught me how to move fast, solve problems, and take ownership when everything depends on the systems you build.
After stepping away from ecommerce, I felt the pull to get back into retainers. This time, I wanted to do it on my own, with my own machines, my own standards, and full control over the final result. Montecalvo Orthodontic Lab is the result: same-day local delivery, high-quality appliances, and a direct relationship with the person actually making the case.

I built this lab to be responsive and controlled. No handoffs through layers of people. No guessing where a case is. Just a local lab owner who cares about the fit, finish, and timing.
That is the standard I wanted to bring back: the speed and quality I learned the first time around, now with my own equipment and my own way of doing the work.
